Wendy Erisman, PhD, supports HEI clients in efforts to expand access and success for underserved students in adult and higher education. She leads research and evaluation projects and offers organizational development training to help clients better understand the needs of underserved students and to develop and evaluate programs aimed at increasing educational attainment. Wendy formerly worked as a senior research specialist with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Prior to returning to her native Texas, she served as director of research and evaluation at the Institute for Higher Education Policy in Washington, DC. She received her doctorate in cultural anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin, her master’s degree in sociology from Yale University, and her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Rice University.
