Established in 2010 in Washington, D.C., Higher Ed Insight is committed to improving college access, completion and workforce outcomes for low-income students and disadvantaged adults.

Our firm provides research, data analysis, evaluation, curriculum support and strategic planning services to nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions and private companies. Its founder and principal Patricia Steele, Ph.D., is an expert on postsecondary issues, such as adult college completion, alternative credit approaches, college price and student financial aid, college spending and productivity, degree persistence and completion, state and federal education policy, and other topics related to college access, success and outcomes.

The expertise of Higher Ed Insight’s broad network of independent researchers and consultants ranges from program design, planning, and training to designing, managing and executing complex qualitative and quantitative research. This allows us to put together the best team with the right content knowledge and training for each unique project we execute for our clients.
