We're excited to share some big news: as of November 2025, Higher Ed Insight (HEI) is officially part of VIA Evaluation, Inc.
For more than a decade, HEI has helped colleges, universities, foundations and nonprofits use research and evaluation to improve outcomes for students. Joining VIA Evaluation lets us keep doing that work, with more people, tools and experience behind it.
What's changing
HEI now works as a practice within VIA Evaluation. Our clients and partners will get VIA's wider evaluation expertise, more staff, and stronger systems for data, reporting and project management. Our team has also grown, bringing together HEI and VIA evaluators who share a commitment to equity-centered, useful evaluation.
What's staying the same
Our focus on higher education and student success isn't going anywhere. You'll keep working with the same people you know, and our approach still starts with the questions that matter most to you and your students. Current projects will carry on without interruption.
Looking ahead
Together, HEI and VIA can take on larger and more complex projects. That includes multi-site evaluations, statewide initiatives and work across education and workforce systems. We're grateful to the clients, partners and colleagues who have shaped HEI's work, and we're eager to start this next chapter with you.
