However, a new report from Collegis Education and UPCEA reveals that four-year institutions are trailing third-party providers like LinkedIn Learning and Coursera in establishing employer partnerships.
Additionally, a report, “Unveiling the Employer’s View: An Employer-Centric Approach to Higher Education Partnerships,” emphasizes the importance of enrollment at scale for non-degree credentials, suggesting that collaboration with employers is crucial for meaningful increases in headcount and revenue. Meanwhile, employers cite concerns about barriers to partnerships with higher education institutions, such as cost and slow delivery of relevant content.
