Completion Grant Practices for Retaining and Graduating Students
The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, with support from Lumina Foundation and Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation, decided to explore how retention and completion grant programs at urban-serving universities with diverse student populations are being used to help students graduate. The goal of this report is to identify and highlight the completion grant tools, approaches, and practices that campuses are using, so similar institutions can emulate their implementation and achieve their results.
