Patricia Steele, PhD, is Founder and Senior Advisor of Higher Ed Insight. She speaks, writes and conducts research on college access and success. She has partnered with hundreds of nonprofit entities and has managed major projects focused on college access and success. Patricia’s focus is often on understanding the needs of students and expanding educational and employment opportunities to marginalized youth and adults. She earned her PhD in education policy and leadership from the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds an MS in counseling and family studies from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston.
